ThePostRaum is an independent magazine and cultural platform that is available as a free download online. It is a space for individuals to share ideas about art, politics, culture, and realities of life in Berlin. We are looking to expand into print – if you are interested in sponsorship or advertising please contact us.
We are looking for individuals to design their own pages and contribute to a collective vision. Contributions can range from photographs, drawings, art and music interviews and reviews, short fiction and non-fiction, events, opinions, local politics and aesthetics. The submissions will appear in the magazine exactly as we receive them – therefore make sure to design your page(s) with this in mind, and include author, name and credits. You can submit more than one page – don’t hold back.
We accept submissions in all languages (but please provide translation into English or German for office purposes).
ThePostRaum runs in conjunction with VIDEOKILLS. There will be opportunities for video, photographic and multimedia submissions for the online version for the magazine as well.

HOW TO MAKE SUBMISSIONS:
- Every page is uniquely designed by YOU. Personalize it, design it, and make it yours.
- Submissions should be in an A4 portrait full page format.
- High resolution pdf files ONLY and images should be 200 d.p.i.
- Any font – size 12
- Full pages must have a 1-cm white border
- Please keep in mind the aesthetic of your page including text based works – what you submit is what we will post exactly as is!
- Include author name and credits
- If a file is submitted in an incorrect format, we will notify you to change it
- Please keep files under 10 MB
- The deadline for the first issue is 15th June 2009.
Ideas only need to loosely relate to the theme – which changes for each issue.
The editors reserve the right to use submissions at their discretion for this publication

ThePostRaum ist eine unabhängige Multimedia-Plattform, die als Print- und Onlineausgabe kostenlos erhältlich ist – ein Raum für Individuen, in dem Ideen und Gedanken zu den verschiedenen Aspekten des Berliner Lebens geteilt werden können.
Wir suchen nach Individuen, die ihre eigenen Posts gestalten möchten, um diese zum Teil einer gemeinsamen Vision werden zu lassen. Inhalt und Layout werden selbst bestimmt – egal ob Interviews und Rezensionen im Bereich Kunst und Musik, Kurzprosa, Veranstaltungsberichte, Artikel über Kultur und Politik oder gar Fotografien und Zeichnungen – du hast die Wahl.
Wir akzeptieren Einsendungen in allen Sprachen (insofern eine Übersetzung in Deutsch oder Englisch zur Verfügung gestellt werden kann).
ThePostRaum ist ein Projekt in Verbindung von VIDEOKILLS – einem Berliner Video-Kollektiv. Es wird auch die Möglichkeit geben, Video- und Multimedia-Beiträge in der Online-Version des Magazines zu publizieren.

EINSENDEBEDINGUNGEN:
- Jede Seite wird einzigartig gestaltet – und zwar von DIR. Finde ein Thema deiner Wahl, mach‘ deinen eigenen Text, mach‘ dein eigenes Layout, mach‘ deinen eigenen Postraum!
- Größe: eine komplette A4-Seite, hochkant, mit einem weißen Rand von 1 cm
- Format: NUR PDF; hohe Auflösung; Bilder 200 dpi
die Datei sollte nicht größer als 10 MB sein
- (falls eine Datei ein falsches Format hat, werden wir dich bitten, dies nochmal zu ändern)
- Schrift: Größe 12, Font egal
- bitte Angaben zum Autor einfügen
- deine Seite wird ohne Nachbearbeitung unsererseits veröffentlicht – daher sollte sie sorgfältig gestaltet sein
- Einsendeschluss für die erste Ausgabe ist der 15. Juni 2009.
- Loses Thema: ,Auferstehung‘ – Ideen für mögliche Stellungnahmen sind: Kurzprosa, Lyrik, Kunst- / Film- / Musik-Rezensionen, Grafikdesign, Fotografie, Illustrationen, Comics, politische Artikel, etc etc etc ….
Die Redaktion behält sich das Recht vor, die Einsendungen für diese Ausgabe nach eigenem Ermessen auszuwählen.
